Hey I’m riding the Pacific Coast again!
The next tour is Newport, OR to San Francisco in October! The next pod will be a preview of the ride, including thoughts on what I’ll be doing to document things this go around and much more. That will be Pedalshift 094, in one week. During my ride there will be a mini hiatus from podcasting, but do not fret and do not worry… I’ll be back podding with Pedalshift 095 on Thursday October 19th from San Francisco with a report on everything that went down. So, two weeks on, three weeks off… I know that’s deviating from schedule but it’s all timing out perfectly for…
The march to Pedalshift 100
I have something special lined up for episode 100. We’ll have friends of the show as special guests and we’ll chat all about the usual nonsense. But but but… there’s more. We’re doing a joint meet up slash holiday spectacular live and in person. Details to be announced in the interview! Details also here.
Previewing the fall and winter: Connections, Interviews and more
My inbox overflows with awesomeness. For once in the run of the pod, I don’t worry about content for the winter! Following the Pacific Coast tour we’re looking at some great interviews and great stories from people writing in. Thanks to everyone for your patience as I get my act together and can coordinate all of this. More to come!
The Interview
Brock Dittus has been a Pacific Northwest resident for his entire life, with the last decade spent in Portland, Oregon. He enjoys bicycling, camping, and exploring in the outdoors, and when it’s raining prefers coffee, books, and talk radio. He’s had a passion for long-distance bicycle touring since his first in 2008, and is always interested in innovative solutions to car-free living while at home in the city. Music is a constant companion in Brock’s life (he’s 1/3 of the Portland band Lumberjack), and he says, “it’s always nice to have vinyl records, an iPod, or a guitar on hand to fuel that fire.” He’s hosted The Sprocket Podcast since 2010 (and just announced a one year hiatus). You can follow Brock’s podcast side on Twitter at @brockmon.
