Some statistics for you:
Day 3 – 36 miles
Day 4 – 51 miles
Nearly 8% of that 51 miles was over the Columbia River! The Astoria-Megler bridge across the Columbia is 21,474 feet or 4 miles/6.5 km long. It’s the longest continuous truss bridge in North America.
