The Interview – Women Who Dare’s Kerry Gross
You’re the creator and host of the podcast Women Who Dare, which is a fantastic show that focuses as much on the amazing women you met on a bike tour last year as on the tour itself. What got you into bike touring and how did you arrive at merging the tour with such a cool interview project?
You talked on the pod about pulling together your gear on a budget. What was that process like and do you think you made the right choices (maybe other than the tent)?
You’re the kind of tourist I aspire to be, but my planny Virgo side needs to have campsites planned for days ahead. What was your process as the day wound down for finding places to sleep?
How did you find the women you interviewed? Did you encounter any resistance to the project because you were on a bike, or did that open doors?
As of this interview, we’re at the end of Leg 1 in the pod. What’s Leg 2 looking like and how do you see the release schedule of the show?
