The Pedalshift Project 277: Tampa to Disney World – Day 2 – Can You Really Bike to a Disney Resort?

It’s a bicycle tour of central Florida, with a Disney twist at the end! Day 2 ends with crossing onto Disney property and the final roads that lead to my resort. Will heavy traffic, sketchy shoulders, or Disney security cast an end to the enchantment?

Tampa to Disney World – Day 2 – Can You Really Bike to a Disney Resort?

Folks, this episode includes almost all of the audio I recorded for the final few miles… it’s a real soundscape, including the noises from the bike, the traffic and the wind. It’s a whole heck of a lot like it was in the moment and I thought it was worth sharing even though real audio engineers would shed a tear for some of what I’m subjecting you to. But if you want to hear how the most critical few miles of the trip went down, it’s worth the listen!

Hey, I’m doing a video of this! Details coming soon, but if you aren’t subscribed to Pedalshift on YouTube, do that and you’ll be the first to see how this all worked, what the roads looked like, the crazy road block, and what my thoughts are on bicycling to Disney World…

As always we like to close out the show with a special shoutout to the Pedalshift Society! Because of support from listeners like you, Pedalshift is a weekly bicycle touring podcast with a global community, expanding into live shows and covering new tours like this summer’s upcoming bike tour!
