Ridiculous thunderstorms late spring 2018 tore out an entire culvert near Brunswick, MD, cutting off the C&O towpath. It appears the work-around is being done by the Park Service. I *do not* advocate law-breaking, trespassing or anything of the sort. Also, be careful – bypassing this wash out is on you, at your own risk.

UPDATE: Looks like we have confirmation that this is an active project by NPS to fix, possibly as soon as the end of July 2018.
