Westbounders are starting to feel the first signs of leaving the wilderness… eastbounders are starting to leave the influences of Cumberland behind. Potomac Forks is one of my favorite campsites in the whole stretch, largely because of its unique setup off the trail. Too bad it’s so close to Cumberland, because I’m usually rolling past it!
Oldtown is the only shot at food around MM167, but I don’t recommend the sole offering, The School House Kitchen. Better to hold out until Cumberland or plan ahead and have food with you.
